Count the whole effort
Include integration, retries, human review, training and support in the cost picture.

Use quality and time measures from the existing process before claiming improvement.

What is the current baseline? Which information and permissions does the task require? Who reviews the result and owns exceptions? What would show that the change works in everyday conditions?
